Kelly is a playwright, poet and workshop facilitator from the Boston area with over three decades of experience facilitating creative writing workshops including presentations for the Mass. Poetry Festival, the International Women’s Writing Guild, the Transformative Language Arts Power of Words Conference, the American Society for Group Psychotherapy, the National Association for Poetry Therapy, Playback North America , the New England Theatre Conference. Kelly is author of a non-fiction book, Before You Forget – The Wisdom of Writing Diaries for Your Children. Kelly is the winner of the Lit House Press Poetry Chapbook Award for her chapbook, All These Cures, published in 2014. Her poems and creative non-fiction have been published in literary journals including “The Milo Review,” “Poydras,” “Kindred,” “The Good Men Project,” “Lumina Online,” “Sugared Water,” and others. Kelly serves on the Advisory Boards of the International Women’s Writing Guild, and the Transformative Language Arts Network. She founded and produces the Our Voices Festival of Women Playwrights at Wellesley College, now in its 9th year. She's a member of Playback North America.
