The next IPTN International Conference will be held in Bangalore, India 4th - 8th December 2019. Our hosts are the Actors Collective (Playback Theatre) and CHRIST (Deemed to be University) which will be the venue. In partnership with the University, we are inviting research proposals involving Playback Theatre on a topic of your choice. The research should relate to the application of Playback Theatre and seek to further knowledge, good practice and the application of Playback Theatre in specialised fields. Depending on the number of proposals, a selection will be made by Dr Baiju Gopal MA PhD Associate Professor in Psychology at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), who is also a member of the Actors Collective and Brian Tasker, Editor IPTN Journal, IPTN Board Member. The research projects will need to be self-funding and in or be translated into English. Non-attendance at the conference would not be a bar to participating.
The completed research projects will be published as a commemorative booklet at the conference by Christ (Deemed to be University) and may be republished by an external publisher later. There will be an opportunity to present a number of the completed research projects at the conference.
The timescale is to submit proposals as an abstract of up to 250 words to both Baiju Gopal (baiju.gopal@christuniversity.
