Campaign for Syrian refugee children living in the Bekaa Valley

Date :2016 / 8 / 26 - 9 / 30
Location :Lisbon

Dear friends,

The Playback Theatre group Teatro Imediato, from Lisbon, doesn’t like to wait for the snap of the clapperboard. When our group thinks ‘action’, we like to start the ‘doing’ at once. And so our group has decided to join with the NGO ‘A book can change’ to help the situation in Syria, because as we all know, the situation there is growing worse by the day. Specifically, we want to help build a playground for Syrian refugee children living in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon. To achieve this, we need not only your moral support but also your financial contribution to help us reach the target of 250 euro in donations. If the target is reached within the short period of a month, then our group will celebrate the achievement with a Playback Theatre performance on the theme of “Stories of Solidarity”, which will take place at 5 p.m. on Saturday 17 December in Lisbon (9, Rua da Cascalheira). So join us in this quest, and then help us to celebrate the achievement of giving these Syrian children a reason to smile!
